Educational Information Only Unless a Patient Relationship Is Established

 The general information on this website is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Website content may discuss pediatric gastrointestinal symptoms, nutrition, testing, treatment options, supplements, and general health topics. This information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and should not be used as a substitute for medical care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Not for Emergencies

TinyGut does not provide emergency medical services.

Do not use this website, email, online forms, messaging tools, or telehealth services for emergencies or urgent medical problems.

If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

Examples of symptoms that may require urgent or emergency evaluation include, but are not limited to:

  • Trouble breathing 
  • Severe allergic reaction 
  • Ingestion of a dangerous substance 
  • Severe weight loss or inability to maintain hydration 
  • Any condition that you believe may be life-threatening 

TinyGut may recommend that a patient seek in-person, urgent, or emergency care when appropriate.

Relationship With Local Physicians and Other Healthcare Providers

 TinyGut’s services are intended to support, not replace, appropriate local medical care.

Patients should maintain a relationship with a local pediatrician, primary care clinician, or other appropriate healthcare professional. TinyGut may recommend that you share TinyGut’s recommendations with the child’s local healthcare team.

TinyGut may not be able to order certain tests, prescribe certain medications, coordinate local care, manage emergencies, or provide ongoing care in every situation.
